Our Mission
Martin Luther King, Jr., Youth Social Justice Student Awards are provided to selected applicants ages 15-19. In addition, PIV-MLK recognizes longtime program supporters with the Zennie Cummings Community Support Award.
Our PIV MLK Team
Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action. In the spirit of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., acknowledging those addressing social injustice for our children and our community.
Our History
Since 1982, the Pomona Inland Valley Martin Luther King Jr., Project’s (PIV-MLK) vision is to address the needs of local students striving to obtain their educational goals in the spirit of the Rev. Dr. King’s vision of social justice reform. As a 501c3 nonprofit we have helped over 120 students and have donated over $55,000 of support over the many years.
